Christmas @Rockefeller Center

Since moving to NYC, I feel like I've done a lot of those "I'll do this once in my lifetime" things. This time it was going to the Rockefeller Center for the tree lighting ceremony. Unfortunately due to work, I couldn't arrive until the show was about to start, which meant my view was not the greatest. Still, it was worth every moment.

So much prep is involved with these decorations, but how often do we actually see it?

Thanksgiving 2012

Last year, I went by myself to the Thanksgiving Day parade. It was cold, I arrived late, froze after an hour, and went home. This year, I braved the crowds in midtown to meet up with friends and had an amazing view. Can't believe it's been a year already, but so grateful for everything that's happened.

Which one is your favorite? =)

overheard from a dad: "look, it's a frog!" erm, no. it's kermit.

Uncle Sam had to take an early rest. He turned down our street!

overheard from little child: "it's an elephant with no eyes!"

                                                                   "wheee!"

"he's looking right at you... creepy"

                                                              2 santas.
